Silhouette

A heartfelt thrum of nightly sounds -
She danced against the wall -
The curves and shapes her body made -
Each breath - a rise and fall -
The contoured hills of her breasts -
The edges of her lips -
The downward play of her arches -
Ascending of her hips -
In dreams of love and lust beheld -
Encased in moonlight’s glow -
A shadow’s imprint of their cast -
The depth of umbra’s flow -
Luminous figures reach the dark -
The tender touch of shade -
A kiss bestowed upon the form -
The swell of her cascade -
And now I see her - as she is
Twilight of our duet -
She smiles - as we gaze and watch
A night of luster truly set -
- The rhythm of her silhouette -
